Eccrine sweat is released into a duct and sebum is released into a hair follicle
Eccrine is the major sweat glands. It secretes the sweat into a small duct that will end up in the skin. The sweat is used to humidify the skin and help in reducing heat.
Sebum glands secrete oily sebum that used to protect the hair. It makes the hair shiny and protects it from the water.
