In your problem which tells that Larry spend more than 40 hours total on reading and watching tv and he want to spend more time in reading than watching tv. So the first you have to do is Let the value of X be the time in reading the the Y is the time on watching tv. So the equations is that X>Y so you could say that X + Y > 40 where as X>Y<40
