Crop plants that feature oil
producing plants used for food as well as for fuel oils are peanuts,
sunflowers, soybeans, flax, safflower. Alfalfa has the same family as legumes
which do not produce plenty of oil. Alfalfa functions as insectary and helps
fight insects that helps other crops such as cotton. Also, cotton cannot
produce oil.
