Behaviorists believe is that our responses are deeply influenced by the environment. The environment is the main stimuli that will shape our action.
Behavior can be studied and researched in a systematic and also observable manner, regardless of the thoughts, minds, or even the mental states of a person. Only observable behavior that can be seen with naked eyes should be considered. Cognitions, moods, and emotions are far too subjective to be measured.
Extreme behaviorists believe that person can be trained and conditioned to learn any kind of task. Background of the person, such as internal thoughts, personality, etc, do not give any influence of a person’s capability in doing a task. It only requires the right kind of conditioning to make a person successfully do a task.
