How did the charles river bridge v. warren bridge decision affect the access to corporate charters prevalent in jefferson's time?

During Jefferson’s time, the corporate charters were granted to the favorites of the state legislators. This implied monopoly rights to a business in a lot of cases. As time went on, this changed. In Jackson’s time the court decided that corporate charters should be available to all that chose to risk starting a business.
