If a line passes trough the points (-3 , -5) and(9 , -2),what is the equation of the line in slope intercept form?

-5 = -3m + b
-2 = 9m + b
subtracting one from the other we get:

-3 = -12m
m = 0.25

Thus -5+3*0.25 = b 
b=-4.25
So in slope intercept form it's:
y = 0.25x - 4.25
