Translate into an equation and solve. The sum of two numbers is thirty-three. Six times the smaller is equal to five times the larger. Find the larger number.

Let m and n be the two numbers. Then:
m+n=33 and
6m=5n
Then:
m=5n/6 so
5n/6+n=33
5n+6n=198
11n=198
n=18
m=15
