A store item is originally priced at $80. The item goes on sale at a 25% discount. Two weeks later that sales price is marked down an additional 10%. What is the current price of the item?

Respuesta :

25% of 80 is 20 so it is 60. 10% of 60 is 6 so the price is 54.
Ok so you're gonna do 25% of 80
25/80
and you get 20
80-20=60
then you're gonna do 10% of 60
10/60
and you get 6
60-6=54
the answer is $54
sorry i calculated it wrong
