If spoons only come in bags of 8 and forks only come in bags of 6, what Is the least number of spoons and the least number of forks

the lcm of 6 and 8 is what we are finding for

factor each
6=2*3
8=2*2*2
so the lcm is 2*2*2*3 or 24

that would be 3 bags of spoons and 4 bags of forks

24 is answer
