Respuesta :

The deposits represent an ancient lahar.
A lahar is a type of mud flow which contains different materials such as pyroclastic material, rocks and water. Lahars usually flow down volcanoes, along river valley. Lahars have a very high potential for destruction due to the high speed of the flowing slurry. A high velocity means that the mixture has a lot of energy and it essentially sweeps away anything in its path.
