There are 112 seats in the school auditorium. there are 7 seats in each row. there are 70 people seated, filling up full rows of seats. how many rows are empty?

9 rows would be empty because 112/7 is 16, so there are 16 total rows. Then subtract the 7 rows that are full and you get 9 rows left.
about 15 rows are left empty or in other words 102 seats. Hope this helps :)
