1st term = n
2nd term = n+1
3rd term = n+2
4th term = n+3
The fifth term in the sequence would be n + 4.
For the fifth term in the sequence a = 3(n+4) - 2.

This means that the nth term in the sequence is equal to 3n-2. For example, if n was 7 then the term would be 3*7-2=19. This means that the fifth term would be (3*5)-2, which is 13.
