find the volume of a cylinder with a base area of 25 pi in2 And height equal to the radius Give your answer both in terms of pi and rounded to the nearest tenth class=

Respuesta :

The base of the cylinder is a circle in which the area is calculated through the equation,
                                     A = πr²
We are given that area is 25π in². From this and the equation above, the value of r is equal to 5 in. Using this calculated value as the height, the volume of the cylinder is,
                                  V = Bh
where B is area of the base and h is height.
                                V = (25π in²)(5 in) = 125π in³
 or also equal to,
                               V = 392.7 in
