Based on the 2 graphs you could see that you start with lots of kinetic energy and eventually have maximum kinetic energy at the maximum and then the energy declines, same for the potential energy but in the reverse direction. In all of this the initial potential energy is the same at the very beginning and the very end, the same for kinetic energy.
The correct answer, I believe would be A. The total amount of energy.
