Variation among individuals relate to evolution because in natural selection, only the best survive to reproduce. Therefore, there needs to be variation so some organisms can be better then others. For example, lets say there is a species of finches that rely on seeds for food. Some finches have small beaks, and some have large ones, which is the variation. The seeds they feed on are big and tough to crack. This means that the finches with larger beaks would be better fit for these conditions. Meaning those finches would survive,
