This poem changed my life when I was going through a rough time in my life.
The person who can best explain why this is a perspective poem gets Brainliest.
"today was the absolute worst day ever
And don't try to convince me that
there's something good in every day
Because, when you take a closer look,
This world is a pretty evil place.
Even if
Some goodness does shine through once in a while
satisfaction and happiness don't last.
And it's not true that
It's all in the mind and heart
Because
True happiness can be obtained
Only if one's surroundings are good
It's not true that good exists
I'm sure you can agree that
The reality
Creates
My attitude
It's all beyond my control
And you'll never in a million years hear me say that
Today was a good day..."
Wow that poem makes you feel down right?
Now read from bottom to top and see how you feel afterwards.
When you are done reading it from bottom to top, read it the way you choose.

Respuesta :

This is a perspective poem because it is a poem that has two different meanings when you read it in a different direction. In other words, you chose what you make of this poem, you can see it good or bad, it all depends on your perspective.

Hope that helped :) if you need me to explain more i will just ask:)
The poem isn't supposed to make you feel like everyday should be perfect. The poem is from someone who doesn't believe in good days. The narrator has been through rough times, the narrator doesn't believe that their is truly happiness that lasts forever. There is always something that will destroy that happiness. They're too the point that they don't even believe good exists. All the criminals in the world, all the bad people who aren't criminals. They aren't good. The bad people in this world make this world bad. The narrator is depressed. Their feelings are now beyond their control. They don't believe in happiness anymore. They still want to live, but they won't ever say "Today is a good day." They seem to be consumed by depression.
