Ptyalism, sometimes referred to as 'slobbers', is when the rabbit produces excessive saliva. Dental disease is by far the most common reasons for rabbits to exhibit signs of ptyalism. Allergies, tumors, above-the-neck infections, Rabies and other diseased conditions are the main reason of salivate excessively.
