Immediately following World War 2, the Soviet Union invested more time and money into rocketry than the USA. Why do you think the Soviet Union was so interested in developing rocket launchers? What events later caused the USA to eventually start investing more?

Answer:

they wanted to get better rocket launcher to get the nukes to USA without needing a plan to move because if they'll need to bomb the us the would need to launch an attack on a multiple of states and movement of more then one plane would be noticeable and easily destroyed
