x=y+3

x-5/y-5=4/3

Putting the value of x

y+3–5/y-5=4/3

y-2/y-5=4/3

3(y-2)=4(y-5)

3y-6=4y-20

y=14

x=14+3=17

Brother's present age =17years, sister's present age=14years
