Germanic groups caused civil war with the Roman Empire . Although the Germanic barbarians tried to hold their country and land against the Roman Empire they ultimately lost their homes and family’s and may were forced into the Roman Christian religion or converted to help keep their bloodline alive . Many of there Germanic Vikings were aloud to stay outside the walls of the Roman cities, but some were aloud to live with the walls . This then left the opportunity for the Germanic barbarians to cause civil chaos with the walls leading to a civil war within the western empires walls .
