Which sentence uses punctuation and capitalization correctly?

A.

"Mr. Simpson, " I inquired "Are you in charge of organizing the surprise party?"

B.

"Mr. Simpson," I inquired, "are you in charge of organizing the surprise party?"

C.

"Mr. Simpson" I inquired, "Are you in charge of organizing the surprise party?"

Respuesta :

The answer is B. "Mr. Simpson," I inquired, "are you in charge of organizing the surprise party?"

There needs to be a punctuation mark after "Mr. Simpson" and "I inquired", which are not there in the other answer choices.

Hope this helps! :D
I would say C is the one that is correct, it is obviously not B because its the beginnibng of a question dirrected to someone and it cant be A because its supposed to have a comma after "I inquired"

Hope this helps
