Social media was invented to make connections and keep up with your friends. One example of this would be Myspace. On myspace you could keep up with your friends lives and message other over far distances. But they also came across videos of executions and murders. It also lead few people to live unhealthy lives. As Francis Bacons said “Money is a great servant but a bad master”.

If social media would have not been invented then it would have been good for teens because they would have more contact with people. Instead of teens going outside and talking they text and well you can't really see them face-to-face. They can facetime, but it's not the same because you are not actually there with them. They take pictures and post them on social media, but not everything is what it seems to be. People can fake hw are their lives and that would mean to give a fake personality, and if you think they like chocolate then what if it's not true and they like vanilla. Teens are always looking at the social media and wouldn't it be better then to look what is in real life then what you believe that is in a screen. Instead of social media people should be looking at the real world where everything is real.
