What can be done to these instructions to make them easier to read at a glance?

- eliminating the numbers and using bullets
- using the illustrations instead of text

I think if you use illustrations instead of text because most instructions go with a little picture to make it easier to depict the steps it is showing. Pictures are easy to understand and are also a universal language. Besides that, just by looking at one glance, people can get a general idea of what is showing.
