AB= 2x +9 and BC= 5x-12

2x +9 = 5x -12
(Now bring the x to the left, and rest to the right)

2x -5x = -12 -9
(Solve this)

-3x = -17
Then
: -3 to get x

So -17 : -3 u get 5.67
So

x = 5.67

(I think this would be the answer, if I’m wrong, I’m really sorry)
