The probelem can be solve by using the formula of compund interest problem:

F = P (1 +i)^n

Where F is the future population

P is the current population

 i is the percent increase

n is the number of years

F =8914 ( 1+ 0.0136)^15

F = 10916

Answer: The answer is 12495, I just took the test and that was the answer
