Imani has three more pencils than twice the number of pencils that Miguel has. Together, Imani and Miguel have a total of 87 pencils. How many pencils does Miguel have? plz help i need this test

Miguel=m

i=2m+3
i+m=87
i=-m+87
2i=m+90
i=(m+90)/2
2m+3=(m+90)/2
2m+3=m/2+45
4m+6=m+90
3m+6=90
3m=84
m=28
