The speaker in Shakespeare's sonnet is completely aware of the fact that his lover lies. However, in the couplet the voice says: "I lie with her and she with me / And in our faults by lies we flattered be". This speaker would most likely agree with the idea that lies can help sustain a succesful relationship, option A. The sonnet deals with the concept of lying as a way to enalt beauty and happiness in marriage or a relationship despite the lack of truth.
