Well the theme is that a creature’s worth depends more on its actions than on its status so the queen bee helps to get across to the theme by trying to kill the princesses for all power, and then gets thrown out of the hive because she wanted to be on the highest status. She also helps to get to the conflict because she tries to kill the princesses.

(also maybe you might want to change the words a-bit because I used this for my class assignment sorry)… :(
