The apple appears red in sunlight. All the colors of the spectrum are contained in white light.

Answer:

Not quite sure I understand but all the colors other than red are being absorbed.  But if we were to get down to specifics there can be yellow and orange is some apples.  But other than that every other color gets absorbed, while those colors reflect off allowing us to see them.
