The sun's gravity pulls the planet toward the sun, which changes the straight line of direction into a curve. This keeps the planet moving in an orbit around the sun. Because of the sun's gravitational pull, all the planets in our solar system orbit around it.

Gravity causes the solar system to move within the galaxy without any

issues and it is known as the strong bond that holds together entire galaxies

which includes the sun, moon, planets etc.

This keeps the planet revolving around the sun and ensures there is no

deviation from the line followed from the onset. If there is a deviation and

planets end up crashing into one another then the result will be very

disastrous and would lead to mass loss of lives.

Gravity also ensures that different planets and countries have a very different

type of climate due to the relative exposure of the planets/areas to the sun.
