Explanation:

There’s always something going on at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Each day brings a new experience at the Garden. I visited the garden recently and i had a splendid time. So many events too place but my favourite was the viewing of the orchids.

We saw 10,000 orchids in bloom and got a closer look at orchids in the tropics, we were able to find the greatest diversity of orchid species on earth. The display simply evoked the lush feel of rainforests, tropical islands, and warm beaches in me. We were able to learn the importance of water in the tropics, noting that rainforests can get hundreds of inches of rain a year. There was also the Orchid Show which featured a “curtain” of falling water. The theme of water is implicit throughout, with seas of Vanda orchids, a banca canoe, and small islands blooming with tall palm trees and orchids. We also traded the cold and gray of winter for a world that is infused with the warmth and light of turquoise seas. Finally, we enjoyed musical events like Morning Music with Orchids while surrounded by the beauty of the Orchid Show.
