I want you to pick out one prominent Black American to do a one page report on them. It can be a historical figure, a musician, an athlete, or anyone that has made a positive impact on American History or culture. Some examples would be: MLK Jr., Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges, Michael Jordan, Muhammed Ali, Jackie Robinson, Louis Armstrong, Will Smith, etc.

A prominent role in black history is Harriet Tubman! Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist and political activist. Born into slavery, Tubman escaped and subsequently made some 13 missions to rescue approximately 70 enslaved people, including family and friends, using the network of antislavery activists and safe houses known as the Underground Railroad.
