You can complete three-tenths of a task in an hour. Your friend can complete one-fifth of the same task in an hour. How long will it take to complete the task if you work together? Please explain how you solved it.

To add fractions, find the LCD and then combine.
Exact Form:1/2
Decimal Form: 0.5

So they can complete 1/2 of the task in a hour together
