The city has been bringing in chairs for a play. They are setting them up in rows in front of the stage. The first row has 10 chairs in it. Each row has 2 chairs more than the row in front of it. How many chairs will there be in the 24th row?
If I understand this correctly then all you need to do is count by 2s until you reach the 24th row 10,12,14,16,18,20,22 and so on until you get 56 chairs on the 24th row
