Make y the subject
[tex]\mathbf{y = 2 -x^2}[/tex]
Rewrite as:
[tex]\mathbf{y = -x^2 + 2 }[/tex]
The above is a square function, that is reflected over the y-axis, and then shifted up by 2 units.
