More than 1.5 billion people around the world don't have electricity. That is about 25% of the world's population and almost 80% of
people in the developing world. The Portable Light Project is working to bring cheap, affordable energy to billions of people without
power. This inexpensive, portable resource includes LED's, a rechargeable battery source and utilizes
wind power.
