This sis the reason that transition between the school and post school destinations become difficult for a child. A child has to adapt to new changes and new environment. When a person move to a new place, variety of emotions could be felt. But if it could not be that difficult if a person look on the brighter side of it. In spite of feeling nervous to the new environment, it could be better to feel excited. Excited to make new friends and explore the new surroundings. It could be intimidating at first, but learning to embrace change could make life easier. There's a saying that, "Change is constant" which means change is continuously happening in everything. So in one's life change is an always-to-be-expected condition.
The transition between school and post school is difficult because now the child expected to act in a mature manner, made responsible for all his actions, academic work load increases, have to deal with new people and environment.

School is a place where children are educated. Post school destination means college where youth is made ready for the next stage of life i.e. the adult world.
