Why did Jesus denounce the Pharisees more than he did any other group?

1. They did not teach Scriptures other than the law of Moses.
2. They were hypocrites who taught the law but did not keep it themselves.
3. They did not believe in the coming of the Messiah and His kingdom.
4. They were very proud and concerned only about appearances, not the heart.
