The floor inside the horse barn is 45 feet long and 20 feet wide . The barn has 2 floors ( an upstairs and downstairs ) and both floors has the same size . What is the total area for both floors of the barn

to find area we multiple length by width

20 times 45 is 900

then multiply that by 2 because there are two floors that are that size

900 times 2 is 1800

the total area for both floors is 1800 square feet
