A music teacher had six recorders but she decided to buy 4 more boxes with 2 in each box. How many recorders does she have now after buying the 4 boxes?

In order to fit only 2 recorders in each box, the teacher will need a total of 12 boxes. She will need 8 more boxes than the amount she currently has.
