Use this formula:

Area = ((a + b)/2) x h

a is the top length

b is the bottom length

h is the vertical height

1) Substitute in the values:

((3.8 + 6.2)/2) x 7 = 35ft^2 <== this is the answer

2) Substitute in the values:

((10.3 + 15.1)/2) x 12.6 = 160.02in^2 <== this is the answer

Hope This Helps You!

Good Luck (:

Have A Great Day ^-^

Here is your answer

Area of trapezoid=

[tex]\frac {1}{2} ×(sum of parallel sides)× distance between them [/tex]

1. Area=[tex] \frac {1}{2}×(6.2+3.8)×7 [/tex]

=[tex] \frac{1}{2}×10×7[/tex]

= [tex]5×7[/tex]

=[tex] 35 {ft}^{2}[/tex]

2. Area= [tex]\frac{1}{2}×(10.3+15.1)×12.6[/tex]

= [tex]\frac{1}{2}×25.4×12.6[/tex]

= [tex]12.7×12.6[/tex]

= [tex]160.02 {in}^{2}[/tex]
