No of people voted in the election =6000

No of people from18to 29 years as a percentage =10%

No of people from 18 to 29 voted =

[tex]6000 \times 10 \div 100 = 600[/tex]

Part 2

No of people voted in the election = 12000

No of people from 50 to 64 as a percentage=35%

No of people from 50 to 64 voted=

[tex]12000 \times 35 \div 100 = 120 \times 35[/tex]

Part 3

Noof people voted in the election =596

No of people over 65 as a percentage =25%

No of people over 65 voted=
