The majority of the people from the least-developed countries struggle with supplying enough food, and the malnutrition is a big problem. The malnutrition than leads to numerous other consequences, such as worse health and shorter life span. These countries do not produce enough food too, despite often having the conditions for it, and the problem there is mostly in having no knowledge, using primitive methods, and relying on nature.

The least developed countries still practice subsistence farming, basically meaning that the people use primitive methods of work, and produce food for themselves.
When the season is not good though, malnutrition occurs as there isn't food, often leading to lot of deaths.
In order to improve the food production, modern methods and technology need to be implemented, as well as education of the farmers to be included.
Apart from not producing enough, the people of these countries are very poor, so even if there is enough imported food, they don't have the finances to buy it.
