Monsoons.
Monsoons are similar to a hurricane or typhoon. But there is a difference, a monsoon is not a single storm, rather, it is a seasonal wind shift in a particular region. The shift usually causes heavy rains which can last for months. These rains blow in from the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea in the southwest bringing heavy rainfall to the region.
