Hi :) I need some help!
For my Spanish assignment, I need to compare a Guatemalan dish to a United States meal. I would love some feedback and any mistakes I've made in my paragraph below. Thanks!
-Here's what I'm trying to say:
The Guatemalan meal that I chose to compare to a United States meal is the shuco. The shuco reminds me of a Chicago-styled hot dog because both beef sandwiches are assembled with many toppings. A shuco is a boiled sausage on top of an artisan shuco bread and is covered with cabbage, onion, guacamole, mayo, hot sauce, and tomato sauce. The Chicago-styled hot dog begins with a poppy seed bun and an all-beef frankfurter that is topped off with mustard, white onions, pickle relish, pickle spears, and pickled sport peppers. Although these sandwiches share a lot of similarities, the shuco contains one ingredient that Chicagoans forbid on their sandwiches: ketchup or tomato sauce. Chicago-styled hot dogs are never topped with ketchup for various reasons. One reason for this rule is because of the sweetness of the sauce smothers the other flavors.
-Here's what I've already come up with:
