It takes 3 ounces of cheese to make a burrito and 2 ounces for a taco. If you wanted 9 burritos and 1 taco, How many ounces of cheese would you need?

3 times 9 equals 27 plus the 2 oz of cheese for a taco equals 29 oz of cheese for 9 borritos and one taco.
For each burrito we need 3 ounces of cheese. For each taco we need 2 ounces of cheese.

So for 9 burritos we need 27 ounces of cheese, because each burrito needs 3 ounces of cheese.

And for, 1 taco we just need 2 ounces of cheese.

27 + 2 = 29 ounces of cheese
