In Thousand and One Nights, Shahrazad uses some archaic language. Think of another instance in your reading when you've encountered similar language. In at least one hundred words, describe the situation and what you did

An expample of a text that uses archaic language could be Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”.

In all of his plays, stories and poems, Shakespeare used a type of English that has since been abandoned. He continuously uses old pronouns such as “thee”, “thou”, “ye” and “thine”, and other forgotten words like "wast”, “whence”, and “wherefore”.

When I started reading the play, this type of language was very confusing to me. Altough some words I could understand through context, others made it difficult for me to comprehend the whole sentence.

To correctly understand and be able to read the text with no problems, I made a list of the words I did not know, along with their meanings. As I read the text, I would turn to my list to check the words I did not remember the meaning of. After a while, I learned the vocabulary; and by the end of the play, I could read the text with no help.
