Sylvie had 51 baseball cards. She kept 3 of her favorite ones. She then shared them equally between her 4 friends. How many baseball cards did each of her friends receive? Write an equation to represent the problem, and then solve the problem. Use the / as the division sign.

Hope this helps! 51 - 3 (you keep the three cards), then you have 48. From there, divide 48 by 4 (for your four friends) to get 12. Each of your friends gets 12 cards!
