The base of a triangular prism is a triangle with a base of 4 inches and a height of 3.5 inches. The height of the triangular prism is 3.3 inches. What is the volume of the triangular prism?

Respuesta :

Hi!

WHen you are finding the volume of any prism, the formula is B * h

The capital B stands for the area of the base

So what you want to do first is find the area of the base which will be found by using (b*h) / 2

3.5 * 4 = 14

14/2 = 7

Your area of the base is 7

Now multiply 7 with 3.3 to find the volume

7 * 3.3 =23.1

The volume of the triangular prism is 23.1 inches^3!

Hope this helps!
