When Hana pours the mixture through a filter, she will likely to collect a solution of salt in water that passes through the filter. The activity shows the split-up of solids that are not soluble from a liquid by means of what we called filtration. It can be used to separate solids that are not soluble from a liquid, or a precipitate from the reaction mixture that it made.
